5 receiver hookup using DDP44

I want five rooms total with five different receivers. Is there any way you can split the signal once you pass the sw44, so that I can use different outlets in a room. Or do you have to have seperate lines for each outlet. I will only use one receiver in each room. I just want the capability to move my receivers around the room. I also want three HD receivers in the house. Thanks!!

Wrong.
Yes, a DP21 can be used on the DPP44 trunking outputs to feed 119/110 ONLY to a fifth receiver.
As is needing a DP Splitter to get a second tap off of 129. D1000's come with DP Dual LNBFs, so it's already "split".
Finally, yes, you CAN trunk a DP34 off of a DPP44, and then cascade a DP21 off of the DP34 to add the fourth bird. If you need yet another feed of the fourth bird, a DP Splitter and second DP21 will git-r-done.
Just remember that the receivers connected to the DP34/DP21 MUST have a separate feed cable for each tuner (DPP Separator will NOT work).
That's all well and good. But why on earth would one wnat to go thru all that ....I believe in keeping it simple....Look the more equip you use the more stuff that can go wrong..I do my installs with the idea in mind that this is my only visit to that customer..ever.....plus I like clean, simple installs that generate as few questions from the customer as possible....Imagine what you described would look like attached to the side of YOUR house.....Mny times I see in this business, techs doing jobs for the TECH instead of the CUSTOMER
Look, not trying start anything here...you have your logic and I have mine.....
Oh yeah, I never said that what you describbed couldn't be done.
i suggested the DPP 44 as matter of clarity......

My current set-up with the following & everything working fine.
Dish 500
Dp twin LNB
Dp44
1 line to 622 with a splitter feeding second TV & 3rd TV slaved off of 2nd w/splitter
2 lines to seperate 811's
1 line to 5000
Invertor in line going to 811
No other switches, etc. installed. ( Total of 6 TV's )
Hope this helps you.
Ok..but a little terminology update..The device in line that serves your 625(if you have a 622 you must know somebody very high up the foodchain at DISH) is a "seperator"
The device that powers up the DPP44 is called an "inserter".....

I'm dish tech. my recommendation find your local dish office or retailer contact them and let them know what you are planing so they can be prepared. my shop just pulled all DP 44's from vans. they have to be requested in a mornings.
Why would they do THAT?......Glad I don't work for DNSC.....

Not trying hijack here, but how are you splitting the 2nd output of the receiver to two TVs?

I thought these receivers had a TV1 and a TV2 output only.

You mean like this? Anyway, my method is a LOT less expensive - that's it's advantage.
Less expensive sure.....I digress to my earlier statement.....Besides, I'm not concerend about the expense. The customer is paying for the switch or the additional labor for your config....i like neat and clean...i tell each customer that I would not put something on someone elses home that I would not do to my own....Trust me,If a tech came to my house with your idea, I would have to politely decline....
Look, niot trying to start a pissing contest with you here..This is differnce in technique that 's all.......

To each their own - I offer both options, and the advantages & disadvantages of each. Customer picks what they want, and they are right. Most recent situation like that was a D1000 converted to a DP34/DP21 to drive the 625, 811, and pair of 311s. The DP21 is hooked to the trunking outputs of the DP34.

Oh - and I tell the customers "I would not put something on someone elses home that I would not do to my own" too - just lke my pics, which don't show the THREE dishes up on the roofline.

ok....BTW if the situation called for three dishes and I had an alterantive such as the one you presented, I would go your way .....IMO the most unattractive part of an install CAN be the dishes.......

on the surface, neither do I..But I live and work in the land of HOA's...Now I am well aware that HOA"s have no say in where I place a Dish BUT......Many customers are concerned anyway..i must install with their wishes in mind....
