Question - I have been trying to install at my farm...brought a round, single lnb dish that would not pick up the odd transponders...believe the lnb is bad. I had a friend bring me up his 5 LNB DTV dish. Can I swap out with the old round one and get signal? Is it compatible with a D11? It has four leds coming off of it...it also has a rotation angle that the round dish doesn't...do I need some kind of mutiplex switch or can I tie in to one of the LNB feeds to pick up the 101? Sorry - feeling more clueless by the minute. Thanks for any help/directions you can provide.

The 5LNB dish will run the D11 just fine, you will be tuning it for 101,110,119.

101 is the key all the rest depends on the tilt.

Run the guided setup and put in your zip code, select 5LNB dish,it should give you all the settings.

Make sure the top of the mast is plumb!

Would the signal meter register for the 101 if it wasnt picking it up? I've got the tilt, elevation and azmuth numbers from the setup screen and it appears we're on them all...I don't know how else to tell....all of the even transponder strengths are in the mid-upper 90's...

You could be pointed at 110 or even 119. Try a little to the east.

Exactly what TPs are giving you values? For 101 you should see all 32, give or take a few spot beams (4, 12, 18, 20, 26, 28). If you only see 22-32, then you are seeing 119.
