Mike,

When you're watching one of the Voom channels for example, can you go into 6-1-1 and tell us what satellite the receiver is getting the channel from. I'm interested in knowing what the receivers do with the HD channels when they see both 129 and 61.5

Ok finally got around to testing this. On my setup the receiver defaults to 61.5. But, I am not sure if it does because of:

1. 61.5 is before 129 in the tables dish sends
2. 61.5 is before 129 on the DPP64

I did not have the energy/time to run up on the roof to see if having 129 ahead of 61.5 on the switch would change it around.

So, based on my 622 it picks 61.5 over 129 for all the dups.

Ok, I need to get 129 going, who wants to come over with their chainsaw? :) I should mention, you wont be cutting my trees, but my neighbors! I'll buy the beer, and put up bond if its less than $100! :D

I haven't tried it on the 211/411 receivers yet but when I had my 811 hooked up I tried to see which satellite the receiver would pick, 61.5 or 129, for the voom channels. It always picked the 129 satellite on my receiver. I had it hooked through DP34-DP21 configuration, don't know if that had anything to do with it. The interesting thing is I went outside and perposely turned the 129 dish so that I wasn't getting any kind of signal but the receiver wouldn't automatically change over to the 61.5 feed. Even changing the channel wouldn't bring it in either. I would have to do a check switch to get the voom to come in on 61.5 when there wasn't a signal on 129. I need to try it on the 211/411 receivers to see what it does. I wish there was someway that you could go into some kind of set up screen and the channels that have duplicate feeds on two different satellites you could pick which satellite to use for that particular channel. It would be great to look at the bitrate levels and say the monsters hd channel was getting a higher bitrate on 129 than 61.5 then you could pick 129 and say if the animania hd channel had a higher bitrate on 61.5 than 129 then you could pick 61.5 and so on and so forth.
