The only thing that matters is what you think.I decided to get a Vizio 4K instead of Samsung. Found a black Friday deal for $398. What do you think? It will be for my garage where the 4K Joey will be. http://www.vizio.com/tvs/mseries/m43c1.html
Well I have learned more about 4K TVs thanks to you and other fellow members who posted with good info. I figured this is an entry level for me into 4K so wanted something cheap and small for my garage. This Vizio appeared to have better specs to me than the Samsung. I have several Vizios and they have performed good for me. Time will tell. Thanks to everyone who posted in this thread and the other one too.The only thing that matters is what you think.
Well, that is what had me worried about the 40" Samsung. It has 3 HDMI ports and doesn't say what they support. This 43" Vizio has 5 HDMI ports. Two are 2.2 30Hz, two 2.0 30 Hz, and one supports 2.2 60 Hz. The Samsung is $447 and this larger Vizio is $398. So I went for the Vizio.Just make sure it supports HDMI 2.2 if it does not you don't want it as it will not work with DISH, DIRECTV or COMCAST's 4K devices.
has anyone have any experences on this tv looking to buy it next week from walmartJust make sure it supports HDMI 2.2 if it does not you don't want it as it will not work with DISH, DIRECTV or COMCAST's 4K devices.
Looks like a good price.has anyone have any experences on this tv looking to buy it next week from walmart

Which size JU7100 did you get? Another reason I didn't care for the Samsung 40" JU6400 was all the HDMI ports and the RF port too are on the side, not on the back. I don't want the cables on the side sticking out. That would look like hell to me especially for a wall mount. I think all TVs should at least have one HDMI port on the back and the RF port too. One thing I did like about the Samsung was its mount stand is a center pole. The Vizio that I ordered has two legs. I am going to sit this TV on top of a fridge in the garage and the two legs aren't going to fit very well. But, I have a plan for that issue.I was also looking at this tv & the Samsung JU7100. I went with the Samsung. To me, it just had a sharper picture.
Yep, the Vizio legs are going to be a pain to deal with for me. Presently I have a 42" 1080P Vizio center pole stand on my fridge in the garage sitting on a turntable. It fits pretty good. I plan on same setup for the Vizio 4K but sitting it on a board on top of the turntable. I think it will work but might look like hell. May end up mounting the 4K on the wall. How far out do the cables extend on the side of your new Samsung? Are you using a HDMI angle fitting connector for the cable?I went with the 40" Samsung. The legs were another reason that I stayed away from the Vizio
I think you made a wise choice.I decided to get a Vizio 4K instead of Samsung. Found a black Friday deal for $398. What do you think? It will be for my garage where the 4K Joey will be. http://www.vizio.com/tvs/mseries/m43c1.html
Thanks, I have a couple Vizios and Samsungs and like them both. 4K Vizio should be here next week from Sam's Club. Can't wait to see how the upscale UHD will look.I think you made a wise choice.
You get a lot more for your money with Vizio, and as I stated I think the PQ is better then the Samsungs in the under $2000 price range.
I've had many Samsungs, and your paying for a Name more then anything else.
Not sure what you are asking? I don't use the HWS DVR. I have a real Slingbox 500 connected to one of my HWS. It works much better and has more functions than the HWS.here is a question for you guys what do you do with the hopper with sling dvr after you hook up the new joey?
asking is there a way you can hook up the HWS to the 4k joey so you can use the DVR?Not sure what you are asking? I don't use the HWS DVR. I have a real Slingbox 500 connected to one of my HWS. It works much better and has more functions than the HWS.
Well, I would think the 4K Joey will work just like a regular or Wireless Joey. Should be able to link up with Hoppers. Are you hearing something different?asking is there a way you can hook up the HWS to the 4k joey so you can use the DVR?
