GI or motorola

My 922 is a General Instrument and I had it before Motorola bought out General Instrument. All Motorola did was put there name on the General Instrument box.

Okay that's good to know because i'm looking to get one off of ebay and some people don't know what receiver model they have and have seen some saying GI 922 and i didn't know if GI made a 922.
