2k.1 Install Help

[Used and Confused]

Hey guys I am new to Dish Network, I live in Troy Missouri 63379 and have it all set to the right pointing according to settings but when I run the tests all I find is 110. I have even adjusted and found 119 for a second after a test but cannot get a signal from it (and it disappeared without moving the satellite). We tried to continue making adjustments but we cant seem to locate 119 anywhere. I have been reading different tactics for 3-4 days now and nothing has seemed to work. I am going to try something different quickly and will report back what my status' are.



Not sure what I did but I picked up 119 on 73-75 rating and 110 at about the same rating. I still am not getting 129 but I know that 119 is the primary.

I clicked done on the settings after stabilizing my setup and got it to aquire a satellite and do the download. I am still going to inquire in this forum so as maybe someone can give me some tips for optimization. I am still not getting 129 but that seems to be ok for hte moment as its downloading the updates.

Cover the outside lnb's with tin foil, this leaves 119 as the sat location you are trying to get signal for. When you find an adequate signal then adjust dish for 110 and 129.

if you want the STL HD locals, you will need the Dish 1000+
