21.0 remote with PS3

I have a IR dongle for my PS3 that i got with a remote for using with DVDs. Has anyone tried getting this new dish remote to learn the DVD remote for the PS3? You would think this would work. I am getting this remote in a few days. My logitech remote will not stay charged very long anymore and finding batteries for them is almost impossible. It works good with my PS3.

it will as long as the pulse codes aren't too long. i wish they would learn uhf!

I programmed my 21.0 remote to control my SONY Bluray player with no problem so I would think it'd be able to control your SONY PS3 as well.

Remember that the PS3 remote is blue tooth. Didn't know you could use an IR dongle for that.

got my remotes and they work great with the PS3. even for browsing around the XMB.
