2024-2025 NCAA Football Thread

You are right ... it has to Stop somewhere ... problem is, they will probably try to continue pushing more and more and eventually mess it up so bad that people will quit watching.

I think 8 or 10 teams are about right.
You seem to be stretching to find something to complain about. As an expert of doing as such, I notice it easily. :D

Let's just be happy it worked and hope it continues to work.

FSU didn't end up inside the Top 10 last year ?
They were before the QB went down as far as I know.

Where would you cut off the number of teams ?
Just asking.
Who cares? whats the worry? lol.....Because it was so screwed up before so they modified to 12....Seams great now. I was pulling for ND, and they didnt win....Thought the playoffs were dynamite, even tho my team lost....
I dont hear any talk of expansion, have you? If not why all the worry?

While Michigan (13-0, Big Ten champion), Washington (13-0, Pac-12 champion), Texas (12-1, Big 12 champion) and Alabama (12-1, SEC champion) were the top four teams who made it into the playoff, the Seminoles (13-0) were judged by an untimely run of injuries at the quarterback position.Dec 3, 2023

Sure, theres been talks for Months now ...
They have talked about going to 14 teams, or 16, latest talked about is 18 teams ... this would happen around the '26 season ... the current set up is locked in for 2 or 3 years, don't remember which.

Theres been talk about changing the current system, most likely changing the Seeding after the 1st round ... that can change inside of this current contract.
