OSU loses to Michigan. *maniacal lauggter*

Seriously, I want OSU to win but the Big Ten high rankings despite any actual opponents is bothersome.

Now the SEC has a little to cackle over. But not much. A Maryland win over Penn State would be a little more. But only a little.
Seeing College Football has decided to become the NFL as far as having a Playoff, the Buckeyes still have a chance to forget about that Extremely poor play calling they had in the game this week ... Not sure who locked up Chip Kelly in the coat room, but those plays were Terrible ... from a guy that came to Columbus as a Exceptional Play Caller.

I've seen a few different predictions for rankings (all speculation) before the Committee has thier annual Tuesday show ...
1 was dropping to #6 which I think is a bit high (i have to keep reminding myself, its ranking the Season, not the last game).
The other was dropping to #8, which seems more likely.

Not losing at home to unranked team would have prevented it.
True, however, if you go out and Beat your Rival at thier Home (like happens quite often) ....
Go ahead and go to the area where Your Fans are and Celebrate ... No problems, no issues at all ....

Coming out and intentionally inciting this BS is Childish and Classless.

If this was Your Home, would you let the other team on Your logo and plant a Flag ????
NO YOU WOULDN'T ...

This BS started with the Childish Baker Mayfield ... then it has escalated from there (I'm sure it may have happened Many years prior, but he started it again ...)

Grow up people .... Act like you been there.

It happened after at least 3 games yesterday. 'Well, just don't lose at home' isn't going to cut it.

Correct.

Correct, this is what they'll fix.

This mentality is why it will have to change. Equally as childish and classless as what incited it.

You never saw Florida State come out, on horseback, and the Seminole plant the flaming spear at the 50 yard line of the opposing team?

Purdue Boilermaker fans got an early Christmas present:
At least a new coach will not be saddled by a bunch of marginal players next season, in fact they have recruited less than 10 players in total.

It was just a matter of time till he was fired, in way over his head. If only his team had the same schedule as IU. 😔

College Football is where it's at ...
Now it has changed some, since NIL infiltrated it, but at least you have Rivalries ...
Seriously? College Football has always been void of being an amateur sport. The 1942 film, The Male Animal and the 1932 film Horse Feathers calls out College Football.
Only a few teams have rivalries that compare to College in the Pro's

Pittsburgh and Baltimore come the closest.
In football? NE v Jets, Cleveland v Baltimore, Cleveland v Pittsburgh just off the top of my head.

All the sports have huge rivalries that easily rise to anything in College Football.

GB vs Chicago, GB vs Minnesota.

AP Rankings are out and Georgia/Alabama are the winners. I'd be quite content with Texas v Oregon in just a single game for the #1 spot.

Certainly, the trouble we have is, if Alabama (3 loss Alabama including to Vanderbilt) were to win the championship, it might lead us to the philosophical quandry of why even have regular season games (or maybe finally use AI to generate college football rankings that are actually accurate?). All things being considered, I think the playoff is much less about determining who the best team is (it will fundamentally manage that) but more about justifing or refuting the legitimacy of the rankings themselves!

1. Oregon (62 1st-place votes)
2. Texas
3. Penn State
4. Notre Dame
5. Georgia
6. Tennessee
7. Ohio State
8. SMU
9. Indiana
10. Boise State
11. Alabama
12. Arizona State

Disappointed that you feel your Pro teams have the same. :(
