2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Have to tip my cap to Subban after watching his post game interview. He's an easy target to hate here in the Boston area during game play, but a class act during interviews. One of those players you love to hate, unless he plays for the home team.

Big win for the Bruins last night and I'm happy they're up 3-2, BUT I want them to treat tomorrow night's game like it's a Game 7! The B's have lost (and won some too) their share of Game 7's at home the last few years.

Sunday's schedule

Penguins at Rangers- 7:00pm ET (NBCSN)- Penguins lead series 3-2
Wild at Blackhawks- 9:00pm ET (CCNBC)- Series tied 2-2

Just waiting for the fine to come in...
That was fast...

"NEW YORK -- Boston Bruins forward Shawn Thornton has been fined $2820.52, the maximum permitted under the CBA, for unsportsmanlike conduct during Game 5 of the teams' Second Round Stanley Cup Playoffs series in Boston on Saturday, May 10, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 19:13 of the third period. No penalty was assessed on the play.

The fine money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund."

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=451809 Thornton fined 2k by Ops and Safety division. Hopefully having to play 3 shifts without pay will deter Thornton from acting like a child again. Not sure what's the biggests joke here... A- Skirting water in your opponent's face during a live play B- Getting fined for it C- Millionnaire player fined 2000$

Monday's schedule

Bruins at Canadiens- 7:30pm ET (NBCSN)- Bruins lead series 3-2
Kings at Ducks- 10:00pm ET (NBCSN)- Series tied 2-2

Unfortunately the Habs/Broons series is ending tonight. Seen it way too many times. Habs will come out firing on all cylinders... Bruins will withstand the onslaught then score the first goal. Habs will just get frustrated and get undone.
