Yeah that was just terrible. 2nd week in a row the Lions did not score a TD.
The good news: The next 4 games are against losing teams (the Bears twice plus the Bucs and Vikings) If the Lions win those 4, it'll all come down to the Packers in week 17 to see what playoff seed they get or if they'll even make the playoffs.

Right now, Lions are in 7th place in the NFC Playoff picture. If the Giants can hang on to beat the Cowboys, the Lions will get the 5th seed and still be in play since the Lions have the better conference record at 5-2. http://www.nfl.com/playoffs/playoff-picture?icampaign=Playoffpicture_standings_rail ; http://www.nfl.com/standings
Or on a Positive note, the Lions are only a game out of 1st place and that would put them up in the top 3 spots.
Unfortunately, the Vikings could not beat the Pack today, close game though. 24-21 I think.

Question, why are the Lions #7 ?
The Seahawks are #6 and have the same 7-4 record overall and both are 5-2 in the conference ... Lions are 2-0 in thier division and the Hawks are 1-1.

I'm guessing when you're trying to break a tie in a conference, the division record doesn't matter since both the Lions and Seahawks are in different divisions. http://www.nfl.com/standings/tiebreakingprocedures
I'm guessing the Seahawks are #6 because of the net point difference in the standings (61 net points for the Seahawks vs 7 net points for the Lions). I have no idea how strength of victory or strength of schedule is determined.

Anyone else caught the little skirmish at the end of the game? The announcers didnt make any mention if it.

Guess it never occurred to Raiola that everyone on the Patriots side wanted to go for the TD after Mosley's personal foul nullified the FG.

BTW, anyone else see Raiola's face? Dude wore so much black eye that he looked like Tonto.

Despite the Bears being a losing team, I don't know if the Lions are gonna beat them with the way they've played the last 2 weeks. I guess I'll believe it when I see it.

Watching Marl Sanchez playing as good as he is playing for the Eagles is a real indictment against the Jets. Watch the same thing happen with Geno Smith if the Jets trade him away.

As a Pats fan...I hate the Jets. At first I really hated Ryan...thought he was just a big mouth and nothing more. Got to admit, the Jets's defense always seemed to play the Pats right. When everybody in "Jets Nation" turned against Sanchez...only Ryan and "Fireman Ed" stuck up for him. Ryan kept insisting he was a good QB.

Looking back, I kinda feel bad for Ryan. His GM really left him to hang by giving him practically no talent to work with..and it seems he was right, Sanchez was not the problem. Plus the GM has been telling anyone who would listen prior to the pre-season Ryan would be fired at the end of the season.. Hopefully a NFC team scoops up Ryan, at a minimum a Defensive coordinator.

Reports out of the great white north that Michael Sam will sign with the Montreal Alouettes next season.
For those who dont know.... Montreal has the best gay village in North America.
