2014 NFL Season

The Broncos have yet to play road game. Some teams haven't even played a home game. Let the season play out a bit before making assumptions. Remember how great everyone thought the Dolphins were after last week?

I'm also sure that ESPN will tell us this week that the Bills are going to win the AFC east.

You know I wasn't one of those. People should know better than to come to conclusions in week 1. Week 6 things start to become clear. Until then we have to assume the PATS will win the East as they have for a long time now.

Through week 2 of NFL season, some observations:

-every team is flawed in some way. The Seahawks are just a little less thawed than everyone else

-The Eagles will win the NFC East by 3 to 4 games. It's not because they're a great team (they are GOOD), it's just that every other team SUCKS!!

-The Arizona Cardinals are the third best team in the NFC. Unfortunately for them, they're also the third best team in their own division

- You can throw just about every team in the NFC North and South in a hat and come out with just about any order (with the exception of the Vikings)

-One AFC that I may have underrated is the Texans. They may not have a viable NFL QB, but they have a deep roster just about everywhere else

-I still don't care if the Broncos go 14-2 and put up a gazillion points.....talk to me in January/February

- The Patriots are a very good team, that's flawed. Depth at RB, OL and an overall lack of speed on defense may come back and bite them in the back side.

- The Bengals are another scary team, but like the Broncos.......talk to me in January
Nice to see you around these parts buddy.

Well, everyone incliding myself thought the Panthers would regress this season, now Ithink otherwise.Their receiving corp is better overall this year than last, and they have an outstanding defense.

I actually thought they could have used Sproles and McCoy more than they did. They were knocking off huge chunks of yards in the passing game.
Well keep in mind they had a 3rd string RT and a 2nd string LG starting. If you pay attention to the Eagles though, you can see a trend, that fast paced offense really starts taking a toll on opposing defenses in the 2nd half.

The Packer's have not looked very good so far and that is a concern. I think the Falcon's will be fine because the Cincy team is a good one, especially on the defensive side of the ball. We shall see tonight if the Falcon's bounce back against Tampa Bay.

Don't be surprised if the Bucs pull one off tonight. I'm putting my money on the Bucs covering 7 tonight.

Well,I finished watching the Winter Soldier,I guess it's time to move on to Syfy's High Moon, which I never finished watching Monday night,& then after that, what ever else is on my DVR. In other words,I'll be watching anything & everything BUT the Falcons- Buccaneers game tonight. I don't care if it's the best game of the season. I LIVE in Georgia & I just don't watch the Atlanta Calvin's(which would be a problem if they ever make it,again,to the Super Bowl).

I bet the Falcons break 60 tonight against the hapless Bucs. This game is a case for a mercy rule. So what else is on?

Auburn FINALLY starting to pull away at the start of the 4th Q, compliments to the K State kicker that can't hit a FG to save his life .... (was he a transfer from Fla St? :eeek) K State has left 9 points on the field so far .... start of the 4th, it's 17 - 7 I think.
