Calls to boycott the Clippers games over the Sterling scandal? I've been boycotting Clippers games long before this ever happened due to lack of interest.

The ink isnt even dry on the suspension yet the vultures are already out seeking to bid on the Clippers.
Considering the ethnicity of all those major names...kinda smells fishy.

Thursday's schedule

Pacers at Hawks- 7:00pm ET (NBA TV)- Hawks lead series 3-2
Thunder at Grizzlies- 8:00pm ET (TNT)- Grizzlies lead series 3-2
Clippers at Warriors- 10:30pm ET (TNT)- Clippers lead series 3-2

ESPN is reporting Sterling has been battling prostate cancer for some time.

Am still troubled by this whole saga. Even before this whole tape leak, everyone in the NBA knew exactly who he was (he did give the NBA the finger when he moved the team from San Diego).

Tape leaked, players threatened to boycott, Sterling gets the book and then some. Vultures then come out and publicaly state their intention to bid on the team. Seems the commish threw him to the wolves just to satisfy them and prevent another problem.

In the end, Sterling's probably going to tie this up in courts for a long time.

The smart thing to do, IMO, was give him a lesser slap on the hand (enough to satisfy both sides) then let 'nature take its course'... ie- the guy's 80, he's not going to live forever. This would have caused a lot less headaches in the end.

I am curious who has publicity stated to buy the team. There was rumors Magic would, but he squashed that rumor quickly.

I read that the last time a team was for sale was the Minnesota Timberwolves and they had eight LEGIT suitors. IMAGINE how many the Clippers will have,.

Oprah, P.Diddy, David Geffen, Floyd Mayweather and Magic (he's interested no doubt, just wants to distance himself at the moment since the Sterling rant was directed at him)... all expressed interest

My conspiracy theory is that Donald Sterling's cancer is terminal,so he created this controversy so that his estranged wife wouldn't get the team after he died.

Looks like the Pacers are moving on..........up 14 with 6 minutes left.

Sunday's schedule

Nets at Raptors-1:00pm ET (ABC)- Series tied 3-3
Mavericks at Spurs- 3:30pm ET (ABC)- Series tied 3-3

Plausible but I doubt it. To screw his wife (pun) he could've sold the team to his son for a 1$
If his condition was truly terminal and he didnt give a rats behind ( unless there is language in the NBA contracts that states teams can't be sold for a set minimum amount
