Suddenly, the hottest team in baseball is....the Miami Marlins! I want to root against Loria SO BAD, but these guys are a no quit team.
The Rays are pretty hot too. 11-1 in their last 12 games.
Heres Hoping that the Tigers go out and get Jon Lester, seeing he's available.
Thats insurance for if/when Scherzer leaves.

I was having a good day until I read that name.
I hope it's worth it for the A's.The Athletics have acquired ace pitcher Jon Lester from the Red Sox in a deal that will send slugger Yoenis Cespedes to Boston, a source told ESPNBoston.com's Gordon Edes.
Oakland also will receive outfielder Jonny Gomes in the deal, according to the source.

I predict the Red Sox will be back in the World Series in 2015,this trade is a steal for them. Maybe the Red Sox can sucker the Dodgers out of Puig.
I'm hearing way more positive, but I have also heard a few people calling out Cespedes' BA and OBP. What they have to keep in mind is the vast difference in dimensions between Fenway and the Coliseum. A lot of foul balls that are outs at the Coliseum are easily out of play at Fenway. That's bound to help both stats.I visited the Red Sox Forum & looking at the posts, you'd think the Red Sox were the ones who got screwed in this deal. They're complaining about Cespedes' low batting average & he "only has 17 home runs." Seriously?
What do you think of my bold prediction that the Red Sox will be back in the World Series next season, besides wishful thinking?I'm hearing way more positive, but I have also heard a few people calling out Cespedes' BA and OBP.
