After that hot start I never thought the Tigers would spend a day in 2nd place for the rest of this season. I have no doubt that they will get back on track. The pitching is not as bad as they have shown for the last month or so.

On a more off topic note, I hope everything is alright with Riffjim. I noticed an unusually lack of participation from him in this thread so I checked out his profile. It looks like he hasn't been online since May 29th.

Did he jump off the Tiger bandwagon and injure himself ?

Twins blow a lead in the tenth. The good news is I think I'll get to to go to the Twins/Whits Sox game in Minneapolis on Saturday.

Well, they tried to blow it ... winning 8-6.

For the record, thats 6 straight, amazingly seeing how poorly they have been playing the last month.

Ric Porcello is dealin tonight !

Coming out for the NINTH, ( not sure if he's ever had a complete game or not), so far given up No runs and only 3 hits to the Rangers.

Tigers win 6-0, thier 7th in a row.

Kinzler hits a 3 run shot in the 9th to bail the Tigers out today, trailed 2-1 going into the ninth looking at losing the first 2 games to Houston.
Castellonos and Suarez got on base in front of Kinzler in the ninth.

Tigers manage to lose 2 or 3 to the last place Astros.
It could have been worse.

Now they move on to play the 1st place A's and the Angels.

It could get ugly again.

After the bottom of the 8th, A's had scored 3 to take a 4-1 lead ...
I thought about posting that the Tigers were going to lose another to a Top team this time...

Then the Tigers managed to load the bases in the 9th and of all people, Raji Davis hit a walk off Grand Slam.

Tigers win 5-4.
