Well, JV didn't get the run support last night...however, Max is getting some runs this afternoon even though he is struggling a bit. Just as long as he gets through 6-innings and our bullpen does its job.

Well, if it weren't for that fantastic double-play by Miggy, he would have been had runners on 2nd an 3rd with nobody out. Thank goodness Max got his 5th victory. The starting rotation is doing well this season - the best in the league IMO.

I think I heard them say on yesterdays telecast that the Tigers Starters had an era at 2.4 or there abouts, nothing higher than that.

The starting ERA is quite solid...especially considering they're an AL team. Conversely, I believe Cone started the day with a 10.0 ERA.

After a successful ( didn't give up 5 runs) outing today he's dropped his era all the way to 8.31

Shocking! If he keeps it up he will one day be as good as Valverde. Well...least he's not as bad as Melon Head Brad Penny.

You can't compare them, ones a Starter and ones a Reliever.
However, Both Stink, at least Penny has Retired ..... I think.
