I've been watching the game on CBC. The announcers on there didn't say what the penalties were either. Since Rogers took over the NHL rights in Canada forcing CBC to sublicense from Rogers, it hasn't been the same coverage. The announcers have been lousy there as well.

Poor Connor Mcdavid and Jack Eichel, one is going to Edmonton the other to Buffalo.

Eichel will be treated like a God here in Buffalo. He's going to get much more attention in the US than McDavid in Edmonton.
Oilers are more dysfunctional than the Simpsons. How can you have 4 #1 picks in the last 6 drafts and still be in the bottom of the standings?
Easy... 1- team sucks, 2- management sucks even more 3- coaching staff is pathetic 4- building blows 5- Edmonton is too isolated (its the most northern team in the league) = nobody wants to play there!

They can always move the Edmonton Oilers to Houston,then you'd have the Houston Oilers(name of former AFL/NFL team in Houston before they moved from Houston & became the Tennessee Titans).
Seriously,I can't imagine that the city of Edmonton is that bad(it is a major metro area),but obviously the team needs new ownership. Look what a change of ownership AND a change of scenery has done for the [then] Atlanta Thrashers/[now] Winnipeg Jets. Winnipeg is VERY supportive of the Jets,& even though their arena is small,they are still drawing more fans to their games than the Thrashers ever saw in Atlanta. After the Gretzky era,how did the Edmonton Oilers fall so bad until where they are now? Maybe if they could get Gretzky to come back to help the Oilers in some capacity(kind of like John Elway with the Denver Broncos),the Oilers could come back. I can't imagine that the fans are indifferent to the team.
Ironic for the Sabres who tried their best to tank the season to get the #1 pick and fired the coach at the end.

Yup. They gotta win both game 3 and 4 so in the worst case scenario they win in 6 games at home.
Wings score 1st, but they are playing WAY to lackadaisical in thier own end ...

However, I saw at least 10 times unforced TurnOvers by the Wings from the Red Line into the Wings end ... that doesn't include how many times 1 Lightning player takes the puck away from 1 or more Wings players inside thier own end.
Thats a lack of desire if you ask me.
Is it time to tell the professional sports teams commissioners to build their OWN stadiums?
