I'm hoping they don't play down to the Cubs. Another sweep would make me feel so much better about their chances in a 1 game playoff if it comes to that.

I didn't realize that. Great record! I'll give the Bucs credit. I thought they were starting to fade away after they were swept by the Cardinals. That was an impressive sweep in Texas.

I'm hoping they don't play down to the Cubs. Another sweep would make me feel so much better about their chances in a 1 game playoff if it comes to that.

The Tigers were very dominant in IL games a few years back, but I don't think they are anymore.

Actually, it looks like they are doing fine this year in IL games as well ... they are 12-5.

Other notable IL records:

Boston is 13-5
Oakland is 13-7
the CUBS are also 13-7 !!!

Pirates take the first game against the Cubbies, 3-1. Cards drop the series final to the Brewers. All tied up again.

Should be a fun last two weeks. Just hope the Reds can hang in there. They play the Brewers this weekend. For some reason they have given the Reds a lot of problems this year.

Grilli isn't ready. He has given up runs in his last two appearances. To use him with only a 1-run lead was a mistake.

Every win is a big one from here on out. PNC is a beautiful ballpark. It even makes those obnoxious Cub fans tolerable...well, almost.

I had three in front of me, if they weren't Cub fans I would say the one lady was hot but she lost my respect being a Cubs fan.
