2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs

As a fan, I've been through World Series with the Red Sox, Super Bowls with the Patriots and NBA Finals with the Celtics.............TONIGHT's game takes a back seat to none of them as far as on the edge of your seat action!

I never would have imagined they would be scoreless through the 2nd. Yep, it would appear the refs swallowed their whistles, but it's been a pretty clean game so far. Right now the Bruins are applying the most pressure, but Tampa Bay's goalie is in the zone and also getting some good bounces.

Bill and the Boston faithful must be sitting on pins and needles right now. The Garden (whatever) is going to explode should the Bruins get the first goal.

It's far better to cry tears of joy than it is tears of pain and bitter disappointment I say. Either way, the beer is going to flow late into the evening in Boston.

I agree with everything you posted here.

We've been there plenty of times !

I haven't seen much of the game, but the last 10 minutes looked like the play belonged to the Bruins.

However, as a Wings fan, we've watched our teams dominate the other team and have a bad bounce and the other team is off to the races and leading the game.

Like I said, whoever wins tonight I will root for.
With Yzerman running things in TB and the Bruins were my childhood team ....
Yes, I'm OLD, #4 and # 77 were playing at the time. :D

Bill,
For some reason I see Vancouver as being the Big Bad Bully in the finals this year, not sure if thats accurate or not, but just don't care for them.

Well, they did dominate the regular season. One of the best hockey games I've seen all year was earlier this winter, when the Bruins went into B.C. and ended a long Canucks undefeated streak.

The Bruins match-up a lot better against the Canucks than the Lightning.

Meanwhile back at the ranch...more pleasure by Boston and more great saves by the Rollyson. Yikes!

Are you a Season Ticket Holder?

Did I miss anything when I was gone?
