How do you figure? 4th quarter and tie game, only turnovers are Palmers. Gave Denver the luxury of being able to still run the ball, and then the defense gave the game away. Palmers 2 INTs to that point are huge and a big reason why Denver was still in the game at all. His second completely swung the game at the end of the 3rd, driving in Denver territory and then throwing a pick. The next play was a long TD run by McGahee, capitalizing on the turnover and tying the game.

I figure because on 2 occassions, the Raiders stopped on 3rd and long and twice penalties(push out of bounds) and face mask on Seymour went from 4th and punt to automatic penalties for 1st downs.

Here's some different perspective from a couple of Raiders fans -

Hey guys,

Hell of a game. I thought we had it, but you guys came out in the 2nd half with far more desire, endurance, vision and execution and pulled out a well earned win.
The Broncos played a hell of a lot TOUGHER football than the Raiders today, and the evidence is in the score and the stats.
I still think Tebow is a RB, and the wildcat won't always win games, but it did today and that's all that matters until next week.
I also think the Broncos are a better team than their record shows, I've been saying that since our meeting at the start of the season.
Anyway, great game and a well deserved win. :salute:

Our defense overall was infuriating, the playcalling from Chuck Bresnahan was just atrocious, and most of all the penalties are just frustrating as hell.
I have to say that even with the 3 INT again from Carson Palmer at least he isn't afraid of going for it. Hue Jackson went away from the run once again.
You guys beat us...period.
see you next year.:thumb:

PFT put it better than I did:

The Raiders brought Carson Palmer in Oakland for just these sort of games. He got the ball up seven points late in the third quarter. Here are his remaining drives:

1. First drive: Interception. (McGahee touchdown next play.)

2. Second drive: Three and out.

3. Third drive: Three and out. (Royal punt return next play.)

4. Fourth drive: Two first downs, and a punt.

5. Fifth drive: Interception.

That is how a team implodes. Palmer has been a big factor in two straight division losses at home. Fair or not, they are the worst two Raiders games of the year.

Palmer couldn't keep the offense on the field and turned the ball over, putting his defense in worse positions and then they gave the game to Denver.

Hines Ward out with a 'stinger' after that helmet to helmet hit with Ray lewis... which means late tonight or tomorrow they'll say 'oh, turns out it's a concussion'.

Yet NO penalty for the hit ... yet the Steelers got 15 yards for the hit on the Ravens (cant remember who it was).

You can't call a penalty during the replay, and apparently a ref didn't see it or didn't think it was an illegal hit in real time. He'll be getting a letter and fine for sure. The 15 yarder for a helmet to the Raven's facemask was legit. Will be a fine as well. Like the announcers said I don't think the players care.

A fine doesn't get the Steelers a 1st down in the Red Zone though.

It was Ray Lewis, thats why the call wasn't made.

LMAO! So let me get this straight...in the 1st game he played, he had been there all but 4 days, practiced in 2 days....and he is the major reason why they lost?

ROFLMAO! Ridiculous.

And in todays game, where did HE commit 15 penalties for almost 130 yards and give up almost 300 rushing? Also coming into play, no McFadden, their best player... For 2 games. How conveniently forgotten by the Guru from PFT. LMAO!

Hey, I like PFT too and get alot stuff from them, but IF they told me that the Miami Dolphins are now gonna run the table just because they won today....would you believe that too?!

It's called 'Monday Morning Quarterbacking' ...just a day early. Everyone does, they get paid to do it.
