At this point, RIGHT NOW...don't know about the future...but RIGHT NOW.... Tebow is a worse QB than Jamarcus Russell was for the Raiders.
talent wise yes. but the guy works hard. something no one can every say about lazy fat ass jamarcus. bottom line is, I wouldn't take either one!

1. The Bengals are 5-2. Raise your hand if you saw that coming.
I certainly didn't, but in retrospect that defense is for real.
2. Everyone talks about the emergence of The Amish Riffle, but how about that Buffalo defense? NINE sacks against Washington. Wow!
Meh. IMO, that was more of a function of the opponent. Defense is the Bills weakness
3. The Eagles are now 13-0 after a bye week under Andy Reid.
Gotta give props to the big man. Thirteen years and the players still buy into his program. That said, he still hasn't won the big one.
4. The Cards, just can't close. What is this the third or fourth big lead they've blown in the second half? Unreal.
I watched the second half of that game, and that was as unprepared "deers in the headlights" look I've seen in a long time!
5. Dick LeBeau, after previously getting torched by Tom Brady and company, decided to mix up his defensive philiosophy and go man-on-man instead of zone coverage. It worked. And unlike Belichick, he was clueless as how to adjust. Yup, the Steelers finally got over the Brady hurdle, kudos to them.
6. The top 4 defenses in the NFL reside in the AFC North. Wow.
That's amazing!
7. Was Sean Payton not coaching from the booth this week? What happened? Talk about a letdown following a pummeling of the Colts a week before.
The Saints scored 62 points last week. Going into yesterday the Rams scored 56 points ALL YEAR! WOW!!
8. I don't care how you slice it, completing less than 50% of your passes, isn't good. Yet Denver continues to claim that when Teabow plays, it's way more "exciting". Come on Denver. WINNING is exciting. That's all that should matter.
I guess the Christian got thrown to the Lions yesterday!

10. Mark it down. The Eagles turning point came last night. They WILL win the NFC East.
No question. The NFC East is down this year, so they may even win it with a 9-7 record.
!

Did anybody check what was in the cups the Patriots were drinking out of on the sidelines?

I kid, I kid...hey give me a break, I NEVER get to make fun of the Patriots AND the Red Sox at the same time!!! :D

One of them is always too busy kicking my team's butt...

.....and the Bruins are dreadful right now, and last time I checked the Celtics still weren't playing. Yes, we've been spoiled here the last 10 years, but right now things aren't good! :(

Oh and Sandra, the Red Sox kicking the Yankees butts??!! What kind of alternate universe are you on this Halloween morning? :D

I want to know what SHE has been drinking.

:D

Bill, the poison from the wound of 2004 is still running rampant through my veins!!!

The Bruins may still be on their Stanley Cup hangover. Heck, 17 years later the Rangers are STILL on their Stanley Cup hangover! I bet the Bruins get over theirs by Thanksgiving...

It was a good game I thought that Brady was going to come back and win because he is that kind of a QB, I was getting worried when the steelers were getting field goals instead of touch downs. If they play again it could have a different outcome.

Both teams are good, hell they are great, any one could beat the other at any time, it just seems Brady always has the steelers number.

Agreed, but the better team definitely won yesterday. The Steelers came in pretty banged up defensively, but LeBeau put together a game plan for the ages. Kudos to them.

I want to be wrong about tebow. I'm hoping the guy succeeds but damn he's one of the worse QBs i've seen in awhile. One thing I don't like is the ridicule this guy gets from so many including players around the league. This guy has never harmed anyone.

TOTALLY agree. You have to wonder how much it has to do with religion. Sometimes people forget that discrimination comes in many shapes, sizes and colors.

As we've witnessed, it has everything to do with his ability (or lack thereof) at the NFL level. We're now seeing what the coaches saw in practice and why he wasn't named a starter before now.

Josh Hamilton credited his faith for his big game 6 HR the other night. I haven't seen any religious criticisms about him on that.

I disagree, there are a lot of athletes that are very religious so I don't think they would put down a player because he is religious.

Yes that's true but i do see ridicule for his religious beliefs. Have you seen the latest craze? Kneel down and pray like tebow. Hell one of the lions did it after a sack.

but i don't think they're as outgoing about it like tebow is. That's what I see anyway :-)

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about too, rey. You want to say Tebow sucks? Fine. I may even join that bandwagon to some extent...although it's still early in his career.

But making fun of Tebow kneeling down and praying is distasteful to me.

A lot of fans are doing that because they like him, football players make fun of moves that other players do, ward use to make fun of Chad Johnson all the time, I don't think they are making fun of his religion just him.
