Salsa, your Raiders are on the rise, give them time ....

I think the Lions are also on the rise, both will be really good in another year or two, provided the ownership allows the correct players to come in and play.

So there is a timeline when a team can talk smack? LOL

Yes, when you earn it. A few victories after hundreds of defeats, I know make some giddy. But know your place.

This -
Thank you, thank you, a thousand times THANK YOU!! It pisses me off to no end when teams do this! Win for a while before you start talking friggin' s&#t!! Remember where you came from, and have some semblence of modesty.

Hmm, this sounds like the Steelers.
A running team with one of the Best receiving corps in the league !

And reading this again, the teams very similar in how they are made. Big QBs, speedy WRs, good running backs, tough front lines.

Again, that is where the comparisons stop. Steelers are winners....Raiders are not.....yet.

Patience ...

Steelers need to continue to rebuild thier offensive line with youth, Pouncey was a GREAT pick up,they need to continue that movement .... they keep shuffling guys in week by week, year by year ... they NEVER have the same O line more than 3-4 games in a row.

They also need to improve thier secondary, however when you continually draft in the lower 1/4 it's hard to fill both of those needs in a single year.

It would be nice to have a healthy secondary for a change. They have yet to play with a relatively healthy defense all year. The defense has gradually improved as they have gotten healthy one player at a time.

Sounds like the Steelers D, constantly missing people, but managing to play well all the same.
They DO get Woodley (hamstring) and Harrison (Orbital socket surgery) back next week, just in time for Baltimore.
Woodley did play thruout this weeks game with the hamstring issues.

That's the difference between a good team and a food franchise, next man up, and still find a way to win.

Agreed. But you think ownership has blame in this? Because 1st, they wanted him because they traded for a 3rd round talent in the 1st round. Then they seem like they don't him to succeed by trading away his best WR option...

McDaniels had control of the draft. It's new management. Elway and Fox weren't here. They have nothing invested in him. And Fox has never been known to have a good QB on his teams anyway......

You are the only one talking about stats and comparisons, not me ( I could care less). I'm laughing because you even thought JaMarcus was good and had talent.

I am not gonna lie.. After his 1st year...he had some decent stats. There was some hope... Then the truth came out.

See the thing is, we all know Tebow has talent, we've all seen it.

BUT, where the hell is it? Will he just one day "click" and it just "happens" (divine intervention?), or will it always just be lost potential???

Don't forget Tebow is on a crappy ass team, with crappy coaches giving him crappy plays.

I disagree. I think he is being mocked because he has become THE talking point of EVERY NFL TV, radio, internet, smoke signal, program available to man and beast. The guy is so freaking popular and polarizing, and no one will shut up about him. The players, watch, and listen to these programs, and I'm sure they are sick of it. I know I am. And I am positive Tebow is also. I think he would just like to be left alone, let him learn his position and do his job.
Would Tebow be mocked if he were winning/putting up good numbers a la Dalton, Ponder, or Newton?? I don't think so...
