HARSH!!!

Think it's a punishment?? Eve of the Super Bowl?

I wonder if he regrets getting that haircut now....

I am going to assume the Patriots are going to show up at the stadium on Sunday. If you listen to the national media they might as well not, I mean the Giants have the '85 Bears defense and the '89 49ers offense. Eli is now better than Tom Brady.

For a team that was 9/7, the way they've been talked up the last 2 weeks, you'd think they were 15-1!

As far as Eli being better than Tom Brady, what else does Eli have to do to prove that? As far as the Giants go, what do you expect? I mean the defense has been playing great as of late and won 2 hard games on the road.

Pats routinely cut guys on Saturday, they can't be claimed by the opposing team until Monday. There's no waiver wire right now (and no, the Giants can't pick him up) but this fits their normal routine.

He'll get paid for the Super Bowl and he'll get a ring because he was active at least 8 games.

This sort of reminds me of the Pats finding out that the Steelers had their luggage all packed for New Orleans BEFORE the 2001 AFC Championship Game was played. ;)

They are running the same for the Pats according "sports by brooks". This is nothing new for teams in the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA and Lord Stanley's Cup.

Just a fun little poll... :D

Which is more likely to occur at this year's Super Bowl?

  • NBC broadcasting a polished production featuring intelligent sports analysts
  • Madonna doing a Boy George impersonation (I'll Tumble For Ya) and falling-flat while on stage

Well, after just watching the underdynamic duo of Brain Willaims and Bob Costas...I cast my vote for Madonna breaking a hip at her advanced age.

Any chance of standing-up the Chat Room from 4:00 PM - Midnight?

Today, 60 minutes of football will be played in a game that is Super.

1 game, 1 hour, 1 showdown.

Two great QB's will duel for 60 minutes. One will claim the title as 2011 champion of professional football.

I wish! Thank goodness for the DVR and the ability to fastforward through the other three-hours of BS. :)

So.... if the game lasts from 6:30 till 10 as the block of time is taken out for....

If you want to watch the game with no commercials, what time do you start to watch the game ?

Btw, If the SB Commercials are so good, why are we DVR'ing the game and passing them by ?

Also, for those that are DVR'ing the game, don't forget to pad your time in case it goes late.

One nice thing about living on the west coast is the Super Bowl starts at a reasonable time.
