Had to of been one of the worst games I've seen in a long time, can't say enough about this Pavelski guy, but wtf is going on with officiating? Like I said, before this thing started, if they are going to let penalties determine the game, they can keep it.
When I see ticky tacky bs getting called, but I see Marleau check Zetterberg into the boards and then procede to punch him into the face, not get called, I'm done with this crap. No Way. No How.
Thorton's in the post game interview trying to say they moved their feet more and got rewarded with powerplays.

Actually the Wings are fine.
I know Sabre, it was all Howard's fault, right ?
If this game would have been called like most playoff games the Wings would have won going away.
Kinda hard to win when the ice is tilted so badly, Wings played a WHOLE PERIOD shorthanded + two 5-3's for about another 2:00 minutes.
My buddy in NV who officiates NCAA Hockey called and said DETROIT COMMITTED MANY MORE PENALTIES THAN SJ! And he hates the Sharks!

I would call you, but I don't want to get into it, I'm way to pissed.
Not with you or the Sharks, but the way the officials called this and the NHL won't do a damn thing.
Now the next two games will go to Detroit at home and they will get a few calls thier way to try to make it up.
Not this time.
He made a ton of big saves to keep Detroit in the game. IMHO, he was their second-best player after Datsyuk.
(Earlier, I said how I felt he was playing very well. He kept them in it towards the end. Can't blame him for this one).
However, there are some guys who I really do think could have done more:
1. Zetterberg. He was their best player against Phoenix. He's yet to score a goal. Datsyuk is doing fine- I'm still waiting for Henrik to do offensively what I saw him do against Phoenix.
2. Penalty-killing. Wgile I agree that there were a lot of bad calls, you still have to kill the power-play. They were very good at killing penalties, and avoiding the penalty box, against Phoenix. They have to get back to the penalty-killing I saw in games 2-5 against the Coyotes.
I'm not ready to write them off, but 0-2 is not an easy hole to dig out of.

The Wings gave up 3 goals on the PP in game 1 as well as game 6 in phoenix.
It's hard to score when your on the ice exhausting all your energy on the PK for over a whole period.

Tonights game in SJ started at 8 pm, yet NEXT weekend's game (sat.) has to start at 10 pm, for some stupid reason the NHL lets them get away with it.
