2010 NBA Playoffs

The NBA Finals will be one of two matchups:

If LA wins game 6 (or game 7, if necessary), we'll have a rematch of the rematch of the rematch of the rematch of the rematch of the rematch of the rematch of the rematch of the rematch of the rematch with the Lakers.

If Phoenix comes back to win the final two games, it'll be 1976 all over again.

I have to ask- Bill, is there any part of you that would want a Boston/Phoenix Finals matchup, or do you want round 11 with the Purple and Gold?

IMO, the C's matchup better with the Lakers than they do with the Suns. I think either matchup will go a minimum of 6 games.

Celtics back in the Finals for the 21st time.

The C's are 17-3 all time in the Finals, including 8-2 versus the Lakers, and 1-0 against the Suns........

The Magic will make History on Sunday. Mark it.
The only thing the Magic did by winning a couple of games was to insure a beat down by tested Celtic veterens when it went back to Boston. Boston also now has the perfect amount of preparation, rest and sharpness for a thursday game in LA. If they had swept they would have been rusty:D

The key factor in this will be Boston winning at least 1 game in LA.
I personally think Boston needs to win game 1, game 2 is going to be a bit hard because by then LA will know how to beat you.
It will break LA's confidence if Boston wins one in LA.
