I'm not a basketball fan, but I'm pulling for the Dallas Mavs since we have a house there and Dirk Nowitzki is awesome.

Anyway, it's hockey night so get back to the Stanley Cup and join the discussion. :)

No issues with pulling for the Mavs there.

The LeBoob PR machine already in motion to make sense of why LeBron looks lost when it matters most. Rumor is, LeBron's girlfriend is cheating on him with Rashard Lewis!!!

Last year it was his "elbow" and his Mom sleeping with Delonte West. Every time LeBoob doesn't perform up to expectations, it's ALWAYS some other issue distracting him, it's NEVER his fault. Get used to the excuses. We had to live with them for 7 years. Lol!!

Make sure you also check the Star...I think they saw Elvis in the Rock and Roll HOF hangin' with Michael Jackson! LMAO!!!!!:haha:haha:haha

1 year in Miami....NBA Finals with more than likely the worst team they will have. In Cleveland, 7 years....one Final. He has done already as well in less time. AND, this year's Finals ain't even over yet.

Why in tarnation is tomorrow's game being played at night when everyone is getting ready to start their Monday at 4:30am? Whatever happened to playing the Finals games on Sunday afternoon and watching with the family... :(
don't get me started on that. ridiculous

Miami willl be the favored destination for serviceable bench players who are at a point where they may choose to take the mid-level exception or veteran minimum over a slightly more lucrative offer elsewhere to become part of a championship contending team... like Shaq and Jermaine did in Boston.

Miami will pick-up some decent players. This team was somewhat put together at the last minute.

I think the Heat win at home tonight, and again Tuesday night.

I agree. Tonight they get the calls they did not get and Dallas wont...to me, that would be the main readon for homecourt advantage. The Heat will also have 3 days rest. In their 3 losses, they only had 1 days rest, in the 2 wins, 2 or more days rest.

Halftime: Mavs 53, Heat 51

Crazy half, with both teams having great runs.

If Dallas wants to hold on, Nowitzki must shoot better in the second half. OTOH, Jason Terry had a MONSTER first half!
