The city count for championships in the four major sports is Chicago -25, Detroit - 22. But it's not really even because we don't have a NFL team in Detroit.

I would have said that the Cubs evened that up, but they do have the White Sox.

Doc Emerck and the crew?? He tends to do Wings games??...Wish CBC was simulasting. I would fire up the basic, basic comcast cable I have for internet to watch them

I take it the game will be on TSN. It's time like these that I wish I didn't sell the StarChoice setup when we moved.

Just being a realist is all, anything can happen here.
Chances are Wings win in 5 or 6, but you never know, thats what makes playoff hockey so fun.

Pittsburgh has 13, Steelers 6, Pirates 5 and the Pens 2.

Ok, so NBC needs to Hire a better camera man for their center camera. The guy is all over the place. One time he complely lost the puck.

Wings once again need something to happen to wake them up.
After the Hawks scored, the Wings decided to wake up and start playing ....
It happened in the Ducks series too.

For Hawks fans out there .... there is NO PANIC or desperation with the Wings if they give up a goal ...
That's called experience.
Never get too excited about giving up a goal, unless it's a game in OT ...

INTERMISSION...INTERMISSION...DID YOU SEE THAT INTERMISSION? MY HEART CANNOT TAKE ALL THIS INTERMISSION!

Now that I've settle down...yep, the Wings came out flat - and they're still not playing all that well. Anyway, a pretty good "feeling out" period by both teams. It should be interesting to see what "tweaks" the teams make going into the 2nd period.
