2009 NBA Playoffs

How bout all the stars at court-side for Game 5?

-Jay-Z
-Ben Roethlisberger
-Brady Quinn
-Josh Cribbs
-CC Sabathia
-Alex Rodriguez
-Mariano Rivera

The biggest surprise is Ben Roth. Who gave this yinzer permission to root for this team? :)

BTW, how bout LeBron? He was single handily responsible for 32 of the final points by the Cavs in the 4th quarter by either scoring or assisting. Tonight, the King would NOT allow the Cavs to lose. LeBron finished with 37 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists. Amazing!
Lebron hasn't been the problem. I still like Orlando in Game 6. If they blow it then I like Cleveland in Game 7.

It's not over yet- the Cavs stave off elimination on home-court with a 112-102 win.

The keys to the game:

1. Three-point shooting. Cleveland finally beat the Magic at their own game, with 9 shots from downtown, one more than Orlando, who hit 8- nearly half of what they did in game 4.

2. Mo Williams. He came through big-time tonight with 24 points, including SIX threes!

3. LeBron. Came up big in the fourth quarter

Also, for all the stuff I've heard about "Orlando should be up 3-0 or whatever," this series could have been over right now. Be honest, guys- if Rashard Lewis clangs those threes late in games 1 and 4, this series is completely different. The Magic are not the better team- they're simply making more shots. They're not blowing Cleveland out of the building ala Denver.

IMHO, Orlando can't afford to blow game 6 and lean on game 7 as a plan B- I really would not like their chances of winning a game 7 on the road a second time.

Now, it's the Magic who have all the pressure on them.

Sabre....I mean really..."if Rashard Lewis clangs those threes late in games 1 and 4, this series is completely different....." You really wanna play IFs??!!

All I need is one....IF Lebron does NOT hit his miracle 3.....we would be having the will long rest would effect the Magic "the way it more than likely did the Cavs..." conversation/thread... ...woulda have been a "completely different series"....LMAO!

....woulda, shoulda, coulda.....and if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle....

Orlando simply died by their own sword....NOT because they were out shot...because the could not make WIDE OPEN SHOTS.....period. Cleveland made theirs.....Orlando didn't. Plain and simple. There was no super human defensive effort by Cleveland...they did the same thing they have done the whole series....as did Orlando. This time, Orlando did get the shots in, so they died by their own sword.

Yet this very excuse can be attributed to the Cavs 3 loses. Their roll players have been ice-cold from the field for the entire series with tonight as the acception.

I see all the trolls were out and ready to pounce on me if the Cavs lost. Classy as always guys. You never let me down.

Do you guys see how things are different once we get production from the roll players? Mo Willy had 24 pts with 6 three's, Big Z had 16 pts, Delonte had 13 pts and Boobie had some clutch points off the bench as well. The result was a double digit Cavalier win. I've been clamoring for someone, anyone to step up in this series. Finally they did.

The pressure now shifts to Orlando. They will be pulling out all the stops to end the series in Game 6, because they sure as hell don't want to come back to Cleveland for a Game 7 where anything can happen.

See you on Saturday! Game on!!!!

..."a double digit win"....you are honestly calling this a blow out are you?

I love how yo state there were "trolls out ready to pounce.....". Wonder if you would have been out here THIS late if they would have lost....? So the question is....WHO is really doing the trolling now...?!!;)

Don't get TOO excited here....tell me, was Orlando KNOWN for the defense??! No excuses dude. WHO is supposed to be THE best defensive team in the NBA? Sure as hell is not Orlando.

I'm getting out of here tonight before things turn ugly.

Good night- see you guys tomorrow morning.

Sounds like fun. I've never really wanted to go on a cruise, but my wife does so I'm sure its in my future.

Hopefully you told your wife and kids to prepare for a long flight? :)
