good:up i really didn't see what he did wrong anyway for that tech.
The league ought to start disciplining the officials for some of these calls. The refs have been waaay too uptight. If a guy pulls a Dennis Rodman then you call a technical. Otherwise let em play.

Go AWAY! You are no where to find during the regular season, then you only come here to bash a city/team when they are down?! Classy, real classy. Go away. Please.

Oh booo hooo. Its ok pal, maybe next year for your beloved Cavs.

That is unless yo boi Lebron Goes to the N.Y Knicks like he is thinking of doing when contract expires..

I just have one question for you: IF the Cavs win three straight will YOU post here Monday night?

officiating to me this season in the playoffs has been terrible. there's no consistency either on what gets called or what shouldn't get called.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!!

I actually thought the Celtics got the benefit of a lot of bad calls this postseason.

i kinda like anders idea about disciplining some of these officials for these erroneous calls especially if it happens too much. what do you guys think about using more of instant replay to challenge some of these calls? a bit too much?

I was actually reading a theory about this in today's local paper (Cleveland Plain Dealer).

The theory was that the officials during playoff games don't work together during the regular season.

For instance, there are 3 groups of 20 officials. They are grouped in an A, B, C category, with A being the "lead" official. During any given regular season game, you get an A, B and C official team. During the playoffs, you get 3 "A" officials. All "A" officials are strong willed and used to running the show. Now all the A's are all mixed together. This poses quite the chemistry conflict.

What would you consider the worst calls of these playoffs?

Last year, it was the Derek Fisher/Brent Barry foul/no-foul controversy.

You could also throw in a referee call that negated a Paul Pierce four-poinr play.

While not relating to officiating, one thing I want to see changed is tenths of a second to be displayed on the 24 second clock. For instance, the Cavs had exactly 1 second left on the clock the other night. How do they know when that second starts and how long until it is up? It would be more precise if we saw the tenths of a second count down until the full second was up. We all saw what a player like LeBron can do with limited time. Clearly technology is advanced enough to allow a tenth of a second to be shown on the 24 second clock, right?

hehe, Orlando vs Denver looking more and more like it will be reality. Lakers out played by Melo and Birdman. They are the best team in the west.

If that happens ABC execs will be leaping off of skyscrapers.

I mean no disrespect to either Orlando or Denver or their fans when I say that. In fact, I could give two s*its about ratings..............but let's be honest, it's NOT what ABC wanted.
