$199 24" Samsung Monitor at Costco

It's a pretty good deal at $40 off their regular price. My old Dell 23" is going to the vacation home and this one is taking its place. Since it's a Samsung, I'm assuming it is an S-PVA panel, so priced lower than the superior S-IPS panels (Apple Cinema Display), but better display quality than a cheap TN panel.

For me I want a monitor that has at least a 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms response time.

I have seen some on ebay for a bit cheaper than this I think. That does not mean they are going to be of good quality. I guess it depends on what you are going to use your monitor for.

I have one of those monitors connected to the Mac Mini that I use for iPhone development. It works well but it's got a plastic case that isn't as robust as the older SyncMaster 213Ts that I use on my PC. For the price it's a good monitor.
