I recently added a D500 to 129 and got my SS in the 80's and 90's.

Would a move to 61.5 be worth it SS wise or would I see the same?

Just wondering because I CAN do it, but where the lnb will be pointing is going to irritate the wife a little. So, to piss off the wife or not!?!

Tell your wife one of her favorite channel will look better and hold signal better during rain if you change.:D

You probably should consider the possibility that non-national channels, like your locals and regional sports network, could be placed on 129, either now or at some point in the future.

The only thing a higher signal strength will get you is a little more resistance to losing your lock during a rainstorm. And it won't make any difference during a hard rain. If you are pulling 80s and 90s, that is pretty good.

Thanks for the input. If 80's and 90's are good, then its not worth the inconvenience the 61.5 adjustment would cause.

Yes 80's & 90's is great for 129, it is not worth changing if your quaility is at those levels.
