129 in Atlanta Area

I don’t post very often but read the board frequently. I had the 622 installed March 30 and everything has worked perfectly until last night. I have a Dish 1000 and a Dish 500. I do not have a switch so the 1000 only goes to one TV a 65” HD. The 500 goes to the other receivers, 501, 508 and 301. We had bad thunderstorms in the Atlanta area last evening and I totally lost the129 signal so I couldn’t pick up anything on the 622 for over an hour. The other TVs were not affected by the storm at all. Is Dish ever going to do anything about 129 reception in the Atlanta area? I have had brief rain fades in the past that only lasted a few minutes, never anything like last night.

I agree. 129 is very weak and lost signal all night last night in the Marietta area. The need to move the 129 HD locals to 61.5 (or 110/119)
