Funny how many are applauding dish for consistent disputes. Charlie is to blame as much as the broadcasters. Costs aren't much cheaper than direct if at all. Will be calling to get credits or will take my DirecTV win back offer of a $300 gift card.

Fox wants to jack up the rates for News and Sports and then paints DISH as the bad guy for holding the line. You gotta love it. This one more shining example of how we all end up paying for those outrageous, multi-million dollar, A-Rod-type contracts. The money has to come from SOMEWHERE and $10 hot dogs at the ballpark can't cut it anymore. Not sure what the answer is, but this has to stop somewhere.

Did you call and ask for that or did you complain and they offered it?

I just called and said I was tired of my rate going up and that there were continually issues with renewals with providers. They offered $5 for 3 month, I said no, they countered with the $5 for 6 months. Then I asked if there were any premiums they could also offer and they offered Cinemax for 3.
