I installed a 1000+ when Charlotte HD locals went on the air earlier this year. I get a signal strength on a clear day of 90 on transponder 31 and 79 on transponder 8, the two transponders used for Charlotte.
The problem is that on a pure random basis but regularly, the signal will drop in half or worse for just a couple of seconds resulting in lost sound, picture, or both for the Charlotte locals. Satellites 110/119/129 all work well without problems.
Does anyone else have this issue or does someone have some ideas as to what is the problem
