What's the buzz on the 52" 1080p Aquos (LC-52D62U) ?

Seems reasonably priced when compared to the Sony 52" LCD (KDL-52XBR2).

Thoughts - opinions - gossip ---- ???

I have a couple of Sharp LCD's, both have been great, about 13 months old, bad thing, I paid about $3000 for one of them, now $1800.

buyer beware, these sets and the 46" model are plaqued with severe banding issues.

Yep, there are alot of posts about issues with these new TV's, might want to look elsewhere.
