In marketing speak, "lifetime" or "for life" means for the life of the promotion. In other words: until they no longer want to honor it. The sooner we all come to terms with that, they happier we'll all be.

Well I know they were just selling me the hog when they said lifetime, but I asked the loyalty people when I signed up for it on two of my DISH accounts and they said to me That as long as I stayed a DISH sub and didn’t drop it I would get HBO for $10.00 a month or life. But they lied ...again.

I've set my subscription to expire when the promotion ends. At $10 a month I was willing to keep it for GoT and \W/, but at $15 I'll just wait for the 4K discs, which I already buy anyways. Disney has to pay for Star Wars, which has been a flop for them since they included all of the SJW nonsense.

As much as I love the Westworld series, there were some serious SJW overtones in the final few episodes of Season 2. Not enough to keep me from watching Season 3, though.
