'10 days left'

So 7/1 has come and gone, and I'm bummed that the Sunday Ticket Deal hasn't popped up (ie. "4 for 4", 4 rooms free install, TC Premiere, Sunday Ticket, $99 for for months).

Anyone have any thoughts about this? I am looking to resub from Cox, so I can enjoy Sunday Ticket again (moved out of a north facing bottom floor Apartment).

Looking for a HDDVR and a DVR, though I'd like to swap the DVR with a D* TiVo, even though it may be limited in the future due to sweet MPEG4 hotness. The current statup price on the website is $299 after instant rebates and whatnot, and over $100/mo before ST charges.

Should I just call them, let them know that I could keep my HDDVR from Cox for nothing, and see if they can sweeten the deal to get me as a sub? Most of the conversations like this that I see discussed are existing customers trying to upgrade or get more from their provider, not people looking to join up new.

Looking for a few thoughts... or perhaps I should wait the 10 days for the current promotion to end?

While I don't know what the future hold, I would wait. Their fall promotions are normally their best.

The fall Sunday Ticket promotion typically comes up near the end of July.

Wonder if this 'coupon' i just got for changing my address would give me more leverage if the new deal isn't as nice as hoped.

The flyer emphasises 'trading up' as well as free upgrades and no startup costs.

Well I have a HDDVR and standalone TiVo with Cable... to get the equivalent their website wants to charge me $300. No trading up involved, that's just switching providers.

I heard somewhere that it would be on July 12th, just to throw another date out there. It's hard to be patient but hang in there.

Ya I'm being patient. We've moved, we're exhausted, and it is the summer so we're not really missing anything but Deadlest Catch reruns and new episodes of the Ghost Hunters that will reply a dozen times.

We've also got sick kitty cats that are going to dent our wallets this weekend as well.

Posts on the other forum indicating $70 for 4 months, includes Premiere and Sunday Ticket but not Superfan, but somehow still giving you the HD games as well if you opt for HD.
