Unless there is another uplink later, this is very uneventful. I guess the rumored 8 HD channels being uplinked today is out the window...

They are just testing thses anyway. Probably be a while before the switch is flipped to on.

Still could happen tonight... Time was not specified.

They did turn on 119 TP 10 last night, albeit at QPSK 5/6 FEC, 20.0MBPS

I think they will be testing the live conversion of a transponder from QPSK to 8PSK, as they will be doing that on Eastern Arc starting next week. Kind of like a dry run.

Thats my guess anyways. :)
 
Wichita doesn't have a beam on 129 that covers the entire DMA. E-14 that has not launched yet does though. They could put them on 72/77 at a later time if they number of subs is right to take up precious CONUS space.
 
The 8 HD test channels that I talked about were indeed uplinked yesterday, but were not added to Dish Networks uplink tables.

Here is a screen shot in TSReader of them, note nothing is airing on them at the moment.
