1 Account and 2 locations, How much $$$

Will be starting new job in 2 weeks, Wife will be staying until Spring, what are my options for getting Dish at my new temporary location? I will be in a different local channel market. Is this possible or have to wait till spring when the wife comes down and just change to new address? Thanks in advance, MarcB

Well, you can't have two locations under one account. Are you out of, or still under your commitment? If you are out of (or will be), you could start a new account where you are going, then move it when your wife arrives and cancel the old one. Otherwise, you would incur the ETF pending how much time is left. Other than that, live with cable for a few months...under a no commitment plan.

Still got 9 months on my commitment. The temporary apartment where I will be staying does not have cable access, so guess I'll have to go ota for now, thanks.

If you have a receiver capable of using the sling adapter, you could get one, hook up to the net and then use a computer at your new location to watch TV2 output.

I use my dish at another location all the time. I have property 4 hours across the state, and just carry my receiver over, no problems here. I do not tell dish this, though.

Be sure to have broadband put in at new apt. Then you will be good to go on both watching dish and talking here too.
