Finally got my viewsat going...i have s=85 and q=75...getting alot of channels... I had to get a new ws dish and lnb as my hughesnet and direcway werent getting me anything. Everthing worked perfectly until this morning, there is no sound? What could be the issue...I have rescanned, turned off...

If i can ask anyone familiar with viewsat...what frequency do i need to select under the blind scan...i think it starts @1-15...

Will try as advised...its been 3 weeks or more on the learning curve...!

Making baby steps... aiming @ 97w So far my s=85-90 and q=0-30(not steady keeps going up and down) If i skew the hughesnet dish will be to the left or right...its at 0 degrees now? How do i scan for channels is it the manual/auto/blind...

No channels... for about 3 days i have tried both 97 and 101... the s=85 and Q=0-10... Are there software updates...or is there a receiver that is much simpler or friendly... I moved a small tv and rcvr close to the dish so that i dont have to keep running into the house...I have a hughesnet...

Thanks Turbosat...ooh yeah the trips up and down the ladder.... I had to get a pole and is in the process of curing will move the dish from the roof to the pole...sometime tomorrow.

i switched lnb from the hughesnet to an xtr lnb and S=85 Q=0

I am using a hughesnet dish and the lnb it came with...

Still no results....even after slight movement of dish... I have tried other sats like nimiq 4...still the same

I managed to get a Hughes net dish plus the lnb...will that work... In aiming the dish, is there a gadget or is that something one has to learn? Thanks for your help!

I have a viewsat ultra and i am not getting any channels at all... I am using a k band lnbf pointing to echostar 119... The dish is a dish network but changed the lnbf Sat streghth is @80 and q @ 0.... Please help!
