Gasman raised a new question for me ... is there any advantage to being pointed at 61.5 versus 129? It seems that at 61.5, my reception is much more fickle than it used to be before I had HD. Can I request to be pointed at 129, even if there is a fee associated with that?

Let's say I have a Dish 500 (110 and 119) and HD (61.5) with two dishes and two 722ks already hooked up. Is it feasible to add a 508 (that I already own) to this configuration with some minor splitters/equipment modifications that I could do myself? I don't really need to know HOW this is done...
