Twinhan Starbox USB, I am lost in the buz

OK, now I think I have it. The TwinHan cards such as their AD-SE200 receive FTA directly from the LNB. Their 1034 Mantis cards accept a smart card which will allow receiving scrambled channels. I should have paid better attention to their literature. Thanks for clearing up my...

Twinhan Starbox USB, I am lost in the buz

I looked at the Twinhan site, there are several cards they offer. I sent a question on this topic to their technical support group but like any other company, getting an answer sometimes doesn't happen. One of my concerns as mentioned in the original post is the 14-18 VDC the card sends to...

She and her family lived next door --their land borders ours--now for over 30 years. Some years ago when her husband passed away, Wifey and I went to...

How to find a satellite-- -- still trying!

Well, I have a couple to try. When I mentioned Fox, what I was hoping for was Fox News-- CNN seems completely out of reach. If I get a chance I will try installing an LNB and repointing the dish this afternoon. Most likely, I will not be able to get to it until the morning. I will post how...

How to find a satellite-- -- still trying!

Just looked at 93W on Lyngsat. It has feeds including FOX! That would be fine IF NEWS FEEDS ARE RECEIVABLE. Damned! I intend to get my SG2100 up there soon.

How to find a satellite-- -- still trying!

No, I cannot even get 119 which has an elevation of 21 degrees where as the Galaxy has an elevation of 18 degrees. Azimuth differences are only a few degrees. I fed the trees some nurishment but so far, time is on their side.

How to find a satellite-- -- still trying!

Iceberg-- THANK YOU for your PROMPT reply!!! If I remember correctly, when I first set up the 4K, I set it for legacy's rather than DP's that could explain the difference is the LNB choices. This is what I was after on Anik 107 as indicated available on LyngSat: 1) Sex TV--- 2)...
