It looks like two channels have been removed from DISH's BonusView:
094-05 Real Stories
096-13 Real Life

I don't know when they were removed, though.

Yeh, but aside from broad categories, can you tell what's what from that pile of hay unless it's the name of a show, i.e. Rifleman and Carol Burnett?

Collapse them or don't put them in your custom guide. Or only put the ones you want in a custom guide. "Problem" solved.

But I think that's true even for most (non-Bonus) channels. For example, how do you know what's on ABC or NBC, or the History Channel? Seems like you have to look at the guide to know what's on. Same for the Bonus channels.

Now, some of the Bonus channels, are 1-program channels, like the ones you mentioned (Rifleman, Carol Burnett). But most have a variety of programs. So, you have to check what's on, via the guide.

More valid criticisms of Bonus channels, might be that you can only record ONE at a time; and that they don't seem to show up in Dish Search.

I don't think the H3 has the capability to stream multiple programs at one time.
