As a side benefit to the community from the TNAP image development, El Bandidio has posted a driver replacement file and install process at the legitFTA forum. This driver should allow kernel 5.3 based images to correctly blind scan and log the 4MHz TPs and services.
This driver does disable T2MI and should be considered an interm solution for those not requiring T2MI reception. At this point, T2MI services are not typically fond on any satellites West of 40.5w, so this temporary fix will benefit most North American E2 users. For T2MI testing, simply multiboot to an image using the standard driver.
BTW, I have been in communication with AVL and provided them with information on the matter. They only officially work with manufacturers on driver development, so will have to see if and how they address this so we can have both accurate blind scan / service logging and T2MI. Also, Edision has provided great assistance and test drivers for our testing and has been working with
AVL on a solution.
