On a side note Jim Nantz can kiss my patriot loving ass, freaking tool.

To me, has been the worst play-by-guy in all of sports. Him with Simms in football and him with Billy Packer in college basketball is down right brutal.

I agree totally.

The Lions DID make Tebow Stew today !

DENVER -- Tim Tebow wasn't on one knee in prayer this time. He was on the ground in misery.

The Detroit Lions (6-2) sacked Tebow seven times and turned his two turnovers into touchdowns as they snapped a two-game skid with a 45-10 victory over the Denver Broncos.

like I said before I guess the steelers D isn't too old, someone made fun of them because they beat the Seahawks *cough* mestevo*cough* I wounder what excuse he will have now.

What would I need an excuse for? You were probably boasting about beating them or something... they've won 2 games in the 6 weeks since and the entire season the Seahawks have been the among the bottom 5-7 worst teams in the league.

Typical Steeler fan holding onto baggage though... 'look at that flag on (not my QB), that's just like the hit Ben took 2 seasons and 8 games ago 3 minutes into the 4th and he didn't get that call...'

Steelers played a good game against a good team, a well deserved win and next week get a chance at redemption against a Ravens team that is going the wrong way despite a close win this weekend.

Another pathetic outing from the Broncos.......

You can't put all the blame on Tebow. On the pre-game show on NBC they mentioned that he,except for Decker, didn't really have anyone to throw to. The offensive line also sucked. If the Broncos did draft Andrew Luck,he'd have as much problems as Tebow did getting sacked. John Elway in his prime would have had a hard time against the Lions. The Bronco defense also sucked. They put all of their attention on Megatron & let everybody else catch the ball, especially the Lion all by himself in the endzone in the first quarter.

You can't put all the blame on Tebow. What do you mean, Tebow sucked.
On the pre-game show on NBC they mentioned that he,except for Decker, didn't really have anyone to throw to. Umm, Eddie Royal, Demarius Thomas, Matt Willis, Julio Thomas
The offensive line also sucked. Look at who they were up against, and Tebow held the ball too long.
If the Broncos did draft Andrew Luck,he'd have as much problems as Tebow did getting sacked. No he wouldn't, he would get the ball to a receiver or get rid of it.
John Elway in his prime would have had a hard time against the Lions. Uh no, no problem, they are not that good.
The Bronco defense also sucked. The offense went 0 for 10 on 3rd down until for 3 1/2 qtrs. The defense was on the field too much and too tired.
They put all of their attention on Megatron No they didn't
& let everybody else catch the ball, especially the Lion all by himself in the endzone in the first quarter. That was obviously a bad miscommunication between Dawkins and Goodman on ONE PLAY

yeah sure

I look like a prophet when I said from the start that Denver's main issue would be the defense.

When you allow Stafford to go bananas, you're not gonna fare too well

Uh no, our defense has been relatively decent this year, it's the offense that's been the problem.

No you don't.and Denver has many problems ,not just one.and slow down on your bills.they still got more to prove.no one fears them, yet.lucky for you the pats and jets aren't as good as usual but it's still early so I wouldn't get all excited.if they win the division I'll give you props. The bills have had a good season so far.that's it.

BTW Hart, I've always been fully behind "In Bill we trust" and all that, BUT someone has to start questioning the "buying of the groceries"! When you consistently can't get off the field on 3rd and 15, 3rd and 12, etc., etc. the recipe quite frankly S-U-C-K-S!!

I actually like the front 7, the secondary really needs to step it up. Besides McCourtey and Chung(and on occasion Arrington) the secondary is filled with rejects. I had no problem with them getting rid of Merriweather, he is garbage. But, the should of never let Sanders go, I don' t care if they thought he was overpaid, he can play. If the money was a reason than Chad Johnson should be out on his ass.

I think it has happened before.

It has, but I think it's become more unlikely since they went to the four division champs/two wild card format. As far as this season goes, it's almost assured that only one team comes out of the South, the West will probably only send the champion...... that leaves the East and the Pats/Jets/Bills.

Never thought of it that way, but that is an excellent point! IMO, that is Bill being obstinate.

1. The Bengals are 5-2. Raise your hand if you saw that coming.
2. Everyone talks about the emergence of The Amish Riffle, but how about that Buffalo defense? NINE sacks against Washington. Wow!
3. The Eagles are now 13-0 after a bye week under Andy Reid.
4. The Cards, just can't close. What is this the third or fourth big lead they've blown in the second half? Unreal.
5. Dick LeBeau, after previously getting torched by Tom Brady and company, decided to mix up his defensive philiosophy and go man-on-man instead of zone coverage. It worked. And unlike Belichick, he was clueless as how to adjust.
6. The top 4 defenses in the NFL reside in the AFC North. Wow.
7. Was Sean Payton not coaching from the booth this week? What happened? Talk about a letdown following a pummeling of the Colts a week before.
8. I don't care how you slice it, completing less than 50% of your passes, isn't good. Yet Denver continues to claim that when Teabow plays, it's way more "exciting". Come on Denver. WINNING is exciting. That's all that should matter.
9. Pat Shurmer is clearly in over his head. But I don't think change is required. At some point, you just have to stay the course and let the system work it way in. I wish that guy was Mangini, but we're too far along to change now. Keep Shurmer, but hand over the offensive playcalling to someone else! A first time head coach should not also carry the title of Offensive Coordinator. It's just too much. And it's not working. With this defense, we should be at least 5-2, if not 6-1. But again, our offense looks completely inept.
10. Mark it down. The Eagles turning point came last night. They WILL win the NFC East.
