Yeah, raiders on their second extension to try and keep their longest sellout streak (3) since 2008 going. New QB starting against a rival not enough to bring fans to the stadium... Al Davis can't die every week.

Edit: After an extension of the 72 hour deadline, the game is finally sold out, will not be blacked out

The NFL extending the 72 hour rule is COMMON PLACE, it happens quite often when theres a possibility of a sell out.

yeah.and the steelers ownership always regretted not drafting Danny.

Yeah with the steelers defense and a running game better than the dolphins were he could of won some superbowls

The point being the Raiders shouldn't have needed it. Team is winning, news of Palmer likely starting at one point earlier in the week, a rivalry game they're favored to win, Al Davis passing bringing a lot more attention to the positive things happening with the franchise... etc.

Fair question. What is the Raider thread for? That certianly seems to me like the kind of post that would belong in a Raider'specific thread...since one does exist here.

Sandra

Why are you all complaining about this? It is an NFL thread. PERIOD

Boomer Esiason just said that the Broncos should be playing today with Jay Cutler,Brandon Marshall,Brandon Lloyd,& Peyton Hillis on their roster instead of who they have now.

For a "sold out" stadium, SunLife in Miami sure has a lot of empty seats. Don't the Dolphins give those tickets they had to buy away to charity(Boys Club, etc.)??

The Broncos really need to get some people who can catch a football.. I mean how NFL receivers drop balls after they hit BOTH hands.

They also need a new kicker.. 2 missed field goals, all under 45yards.

Yep...what an offensive they would have had!

Tough to see a team that has nothing to offer...Reminds me of those 2-14 Raiders teams of a few years back. This team has a really good chance to not win a single game. How sad....
