A new transponder has begun testing on Galaxy19 effective 3/3/2010. Please help us qualify this new transponder coverage. Satellite AV has started a new thread HERE to collect comparison reports on the Galaxy19 transponders. These reports will help the uplinker and satellite owner to make any needed adjustments.

Glorystar Broadcasters are planning on using this new transponder and we want to make sure that it is a great new transponder serving up to a dozen Glorystar channels in the next few weeks!

Has the transponder really been activated?

In doing a "Power Scan" I do not detect anything at or near 11842 H 22000 (the supposed "new" transponder).

On the "TP Scan" screen, I get no SQ if I manually enter 11842 H 22000.

In general, moving channels from stronger transponders on AMC4 to G19 would be disappointing for me.

Please note that the G19 footprint shows absolute lowest signal (for mainland US) in the Central PA area (don't know if it's due to the Allegheny mountain range, but look at the footprint map, it's a fact).

I see that others are receiving on the new transponder.

What can be the reason I can't even detect it? I've never had a problem like this with not being able to scan a newly-activated TP.

Here's the results on the other transponders in the list:

11789 V 28125 - SQ: 47
11836 V 20765 - SQ: 50
11842 H 22000 (new) - SQ: NOTHING (Can't even detect on Power Scan or TP Scan)
11867 V 22000 - SQ: 47
11874 H 22000 - SQ: 29
11936 H 20000 - SQ: 39
11966 H 22000 - SQ: 29
12053 V 22000 - SQ: 55
12060 H 22000 - SQ: 29
12115 V 22425 - SQ: 39
12177 V 23000 - SQ: 47
