YES network

Hi all..

What percent of the Yankee's games are shown on the YES network via D-TV?? Are most of the blacked out???

afaik YES is never blacked out. In cases where ESPN or FOX are broadcasting the game, YES does not cover the game. I am by no means an expert, but that's what I've experienced with YES on D*.

The games will be blacked out if you are not in the Yankees home market and do not sub to the MLB Extra Innings package. If you are an out of market viewer, there is no guarantee that you will get the 'YES' games, but most of the Yankee games should be shown.

ESPN only has exclusivity on Sunday nights, Fox on Saturday afternoon (talking regular season here).

so...if i move to NJ....and get the Yes network as part of my local sports channels, i will get most of the yankee games without having to sub to the baseball package???

You will get the Yes network and all its programing as long as it is your regional sports net. In NJ, you will also get MSG, Fox Sports NY and Sports Net NY.

cool...i might have to call D and tell them I moved to NJ and give them my parents address.....

That's always an option! You would also get ABC/CBS/FOX/NBC NY locals if you "move".
