YES Network Blackouts-HD Programming

Are there any displaced Yankee fans with these answers?

I am pretty pumped about the new upcoming baseball season. I am an out of market Direct TV customer (in Tennessee) with the Sports Package and the Extra Innings package. (I have been since the YES network went on air in 2002) I know that we will still not have access to Yankees Magazine, Tales of Triumph, and Yankeeography unless something changes between YES and Major League Baseball.

There are some new things happenning on YES this that sound pretty exiciting.

Has anyone heard if the new YES program Yankees Batting Practice will be available and not blacked out?

Also YES has announced their HD schedule. Have there been any updates to determine what HD content will be available to us? I have seen these links but I am pretty confident all of these dates will not be available in HD. (...and the folks at Directv can be pretty clueless when you ask them specific questions about HD sports content.)

Finally, does anyone know if the Yankees Interactive TV will be available to out of market viewers anytime this season if you have an R15?

YES network sent me a reply

I forwarded a question to YES network and here was their reply. It's nice to hear that the Yankees Batting Practice will not be blacked out. However, there unfortunately is not a definite way to determine what HD baseball games will be available on DirecTV from YES.

No you're all set with the Yankees Batting Practice. That will be shown on your Sports Pack out of market.

I am going to send another email concerning Interactive.

In terms of HD games; we can only tell you which we will be producing in HD. We can not tell you which feed (us or visitor's) MLB will be choosing to air. We are producing all home games, all Red Sox games, all Mets games and a few Baltimore and Toronto games in HD.
