Y connector for Component

I have an old HDTV in my basement its so old that it only displays 1080i, it only has one component input in the back and i have my Xbox 360 on it. I want to add DishHD to it but there is no open input, i was wondering if there was like a Y connector or something that i could do to allow me to put 2 HD components on it.

I know people who have done what you suggested with the Y cable. BUT you need to be carefull that the 360 and the cable box are NOT on at the same time.
A switcher would be safer.
